For construction of any building, it is must that it has a strong base. The same is true for an IT student. Before step into the professional world, he/she must have knowledge of all aspects of IT field. Bhavnagar University & Depart-ment of Computer science is highly concern with the development of it's students in all areas. For that the syllabus of the MCA course is designed in such a way, so that it covers different areas of IT that are: Programming languages, Database Management, Business Oriented & mathematics oriented subjects, etc. Department also puts it's eyes on the current changes of the real field and also modifies the syllabus accordingly. From this academic year two new subjects are introduced by department that are seminar for developing the presentation skill and Visual Basic .NET. |
