• Currently working as a Professor & Head in computer science        department, Bhavnagar University since April, 2000.

• Worked as a Director in the Computer Centre, Saurashtra University, Rajkot from June, 1988 to March, 2000.

• Worked as an Assistant & Project Executive in Computer Services Division of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Anand from September, 1977 to May, 1988. 

• Worked as Assistant Lecturer & Lecturer in Department of Statistics & Mathematics, Sardar Patel University, Vallabhvidyangar from December, 1969 to August 1977.

• Worked as Lecture & Head in Statistics Department of M.B.Patel Science College, Anand from July, 1969 to September, 1969.

Research Work   :

• Currently guiding ten Ph.D students.
• Five students awarded Ph.D degree.
• Carried out Ph.D research work on Some Results in Exponential Life testing used computer support for the research work.
• Published six research papers and presented several national and international conference. Also carried the session in national level seminars.
• Worked as external referee for several Ph.D. thesis and research paper.

Projects, seminars, work shops and co-ordination :

•  Coordinated a national level workshop with AIU and several seminars.

•  Contributed for several projects of Operation Flood - I & II of NDDB.

•  Coordinated several training programs for employees of banks and other organizations.

•  Introduced several computer courses and guided institutes for implementation of computer courses.

•  Contributed for national entrance test of Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand.

•  Contributed significantly for establishment of computer education in Gujarat.

•  Worked as a coordinator of IGNOU study centre at Saurashtra University, Rajkot.

•  Founder of CSI Rajkot chapter, Student chapters at Rajkot and Bhavnagar.

• IT for disables in collaboration with Georgia South Western State University, USA under  "Global Partnership of 21st Century" is in progress.

• Coordinated a study of status & computer along with computer center courses and recommendation for requirement and lecturer & programming in grant-in-aid affiliated colleges of Saurashtra University, Rajkot.
